I’m in the dogbox – with myself

Miss C,

You worry about being complacent. Worrying about it is not going to change that.

You worry about being bored. Doing nothing about it is not going to make you less bored.

You worry about going nowhere, but YOU need to take the first step, and then the next and then the next and soon you will be walking somewhere.

You worry about everything (and nothing). You are more concerned with other people and their lives than you are worried about you and your life.

You worry about work and what needs to get done. Stop worrying and just do. Worrying doesn’t actually get the work done.

You think about all the things that you want to do and want to achieve but never seem to do it.

You worry, worry, worry!

You are in a bit of a slump but that’s alright. You have never let it defeat you or define you before-Don’t let it now.

You have always strived to be better, do better. You have always been a person of action. You have always been a person to achieve what you set your mind to.

The time that you spend being worried about absolutely everybody and what is going on with their life, you could use to better your life, your circumstances, your future. You could use that time to set goals and dreams for yourself; take that time to reflect on your life; take that time to be thankful for what you have; take that time to be happy and to find things that make you happy.

You are the author of your own misfortune. It’s about time that you realise that, accept it, own it and then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

You cannot expect different results if you keep doing the same things.

I am disappointed in you. This is not how I know you.

I believe in you and I know that you will do what you need to do to get out of this slump that you find yourself in.
